The funding round was led by Lightspeed, with participation from Wellington Management, Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Tiger Global, T. Rowe Price, and others.

Temporal has reported exceptional growth metrics in 2026, including an annualized revenue run rate (ARR) surpassing $250M with 200% YoY growth.

Key drivers include adoption by over 4,300 paying customers (e.g., NVIDIA, OpenAI, Netflix), net dollar retention exceeding 200%, and Temporal Cloud processing over 1.9 trillion actions, representing a 350% year-over-year increase. Open-source installs grew to over 43 million in August 2026, marking a 134% rise since January.

The company aims to leverage its new funding to expand globally, scale infrastructure, grow its team, and deepen platform R&D.
