Cursor ARR Hits $1B
Nov 14, 2025
Cursor, the AI-powered coding assistant built by Anysphere, has achieved an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $1B. This meteoric growth is tied to its rapidly expanding user base of developers and enterprise customers alike, as Anysphere’s ARR has reportedly been doubling roughly every two months.
The product itself helps developers write, review, and maintain code using powerful AI assistance. Cursor’s editor, built on top of VS Code, enables autocomplete, real-time code suggestions, and large-context code editing. It supports tiered subscription plans—from a $20/month Pro version for individual developers to a $40/month plan for business users—and has recently expanded into enterprise licensing to better serve team-based workflows.
In November 2025, it further closed a $2.3 billion Series D round, bringing its valuation to $29.3 billion, with new backing from Coatue, Google, and NVIDIA.
