Less than three months after emerging from stealth, XDOF is in late-stage talks for a Series B at a valuation of about $1.2 billion, led by 8VC.
This follows the startup's $70 million Series A in June which included investors like Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz.
The company's swift growth, with annualized revenue nearing $50 million, attracted venture capital interest for a new round.
XDOF specializes in collecting real-world teleoperation data to train robots, acting as a data-supply chain for the robotics industry.
The startup intends to hire data collectors worldwide to enhance its capabilities. Currently, it works with 20 customers, including frontier AI labs.
