Sintra is an AI platform designed for freelancers, agencies, and small business owners who want to automate daily workflows without dealing with complex prompts or technical code.

Initially started as a weekend project experiment selling curated ChatGPT prompts, the platform evolved into a suite of specialized AI virtual assistants for small businesses, eventually scaling rapidly and securing a $17 million Seed funding round in mid-2025.

After completely rebuilding the platform from its initial prompt-selling roots, the startup launched Sintra 2.0 in May 2024. It famously crossed $1 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in just 57 days from launch.

By mid-2025, Sintra hit approximately $12 million in ARR, supporting over 40,000 paying customers across more than 100 countries with a lean team of around 35 people.

Initially bootstrapped and profitable, the company's non-linear adoption caught heavy VC attention. In June 2025, Sintra secured a $17 million Seed funding round led by Earlybird Venture Capital, with participation from Inovo VC, Practica Capital, and strategic angels from companies like ElevenLabs and Snowflake.

When the team initially launched, they expected users to pick just one or two niche helpers. Instead, 90% of early users opted in for the entire 12-helper suite, which instantly locked them into Sintra's broader ecosystem as an "office out of the box."

Sintra AI exemplifies the advantages of being AI-native, with a 10x smaller headcount and 10x faster time-to-market compared to traditional SaaS companies.
