Notion ARR Hits $500M
Sep 19, 2025
Notion, the all-in-one productivity workspace, has surpassed $500 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) as of September 2025, driven by strong enterprise adoption and a recent push into AI-powered features.
As part of this growth, Notion is launching customizable AI agents that can perform background tasks like document creation and workflow automation, reinforcing its positioning against players like Microsoft and Google in the enterprise productivity category.
Notion’s core product is a flexible, collaborative workspace combining notes, docs, databases, project boards, and templates, with tiered subscription models (from Free to Enterprise).
The recent addition of enhanced AI features and agents enables customers to automate routine tasks, generate content, and streamline workflows. These AI capabilities have seen adoption rise sharply—from just 10-20% of customers using AI last year, to over 50% now leveraging AI features.
Enterprise customers are contributing a significant portion of revenue, and some AI tools are being integrated by default in higher plans rather than offered merely as paid add-ons.
Company growth has been fast and efficient. Notion reports year-over-year revenue growth of ~60% from 2023 to 2024, with a user base exceeding 100 million users.
The shift to AI has unlocked higher ARPU through AI-feature adoption, especially among enterprise teams. While detailed funding or valuation updates were not all disclosed in this particular announcement, the statement underscores Notion’s momentum at scale as AI becomes central to its product strategy.
