Manus ARR Hits $90M
Aug 20, 2025
Manus, an AI-native agent platform developed by Butterfly Effect, has swiftly scaled to an annual revenue run rate of $90 million, just months after its public launch in March 2025.
Co-founder Yichao “Peak” Ji revealed this milestone at the Stripe Tour event in Singapore, noting that a $100 million run rate is “just around the corner”. This figure was annualized by extrapolating revenue from the past 30 days—including subscription fees—across a full year.
Manus offers autonomous AI agents capable of executing complex, multi-step tasks—such as screening resumes, planning travel itineraries, and analyzing stocks—based on basic user instructions.
The platform addresses the productivity gap between manual workflows and AI-enabled automation, standing out for its speed and flexibility. Subscribers can access features through a tiered subscription model starting at US$19/month and scaling up to US$199/month; a free plan is also available with limited functionality.
On the funding and valuation front, Butterfly Effect—Manus’s parent company—secured about US$75 million in funding, boosting its valuation to around US$500 million. While exact user numbers remain undisclosed, the rapid monetization after launch and enterprise attention highlight Manus’s strong early traction and position it as one of the fastest-growing AI agent companies globally.
