Airwallex ARR Hit $1 Billion

Nov 3, 2025

Airwallex has crossed an impressive $1 billion annualised run-rate (ARR) as of October 2025, marking a significant milestone for the global fintech platform. The company doubled from its first $500 million in ARR—achieved over nine years—to reach the next half-billion in just over one year, reflecting a dramatic acceleration in growth.

Airwallex offers a unified financial operating system enabling businesses—especially “born-global” companies—to manage cross-border payments, multi-currency accounts, corporate cards, billing and treasury services through APIs and a proprietary infrastructure.

By consolidating multiple financial services into one platform, the product addresses inefficient legacy systems, high foreign-exchange costs, and fragmented regional solutions. Companies now expand globally with less friction, often onboard with one product and then adopt additional modules—Airwallex reports that multi-product customer usage has doubled year-over-year.

On the company side, Airwallex recently raised $300 million in a Series F round at a $6.2 billion valuation, bringing total funding to over $1.2 billion.  As of mid-2025 the company served around 150,000 businesses, processed over $130 billion in annualised transaction volume, and reported approximately 90% year-on-year ARR growth, with Americas and EMEA regions now contributing 35% of revenue.
