Etched, a cutting-edge AI hardware company specializing in inference systems, has announced the achievement of over $1B in customer contracts and $800M in funding raised, backed by prominent investors such as Jane Street, HRT, Two Sigma, Jump, and VentureTech Alliance.

The company recently completed its first racks after a successful A0 tapeout and reported state-of-the-art throughput, latency, and power efficiency on its inference workloads.

With over 400 engineers from leading tech companies like NVIDIA and Broadcom, Etched is utilizing advanced co-design techniques, such as new chips, interconnects, and Cold-Voltage Inference (LVI) technologies.

It is scaling production rapidly, shipping first racks this summer, and has established major production facilities, including a Taiwan factory and a 2MW in-office datacenter.

The company is strategically positioned to drive innovation in gigawatt-scale AI inference systems.
