Chipolo, a Slovenian company founded in 2013 by Primož Zelenšek and six friends, achieved €11.5 million in net sales revenue in 2022, growing by 15% compared to the previous year. Their profits, however, declined by nearly 40% to €753,000. Riding on recent successes, the company entered a strategic partnership with Mercedes-Benz, launching a co-branded product, the Chipolo LOOP key finder, which is set to generate €500,000 in revenue in its first year of sales. This collaboration underscores Chipolo's recognition in both tech and automotive sectors, supported by previous integrations with Apple’s Find My network and global retail partnerships with Best Buy, Hilton, and Google.
